Media Provides Smoke-Screen for Globalist Agenda

The Federal Reserve announced yesterday that it would electronically print over $1,000,000,000,000.00 (TRILLION U.S. dollars). The plan they have is to use $750 billion of this capital to purchase long-term US treasury bonds in order to manipulate the bond yield lower. Their stated goal is to help decrease mortgage rates for consumers as mortgage rates are derived from the yields of long-term US treasury bonds. Another $300 billion was printed and used to buy illiquid mortgages that no one would dare take the risk to buy in the "free" market. These highly unusual and drastic monetary supply measures under taken, would easily endanger the value of any typical "banana republic" currency in the world that would dare try this, but the media here acts as if this is a non-event.

We can debate the short and long-term effects that these actions will have on the economy and inflation, but what people need to finally realize is this is a great example of how the mainstream media is constantly keeping the citizenry's "eye off the ball". These Federal Reserve actions are of far greater importance for this nations future compared to the AIG $130 million dollar bonus outrage stories that are getting blanket, wall to wall coverage on every major television network. You can barely find an article on this event from the major media and they hardly mention it on the TV networks. This debt will burdoen our children for years to come yet all we hear about is this outrage over a measily $130 million given to AIG employees. The US dollars value hinges entirely on this Federal Reserve action in the short-term and in the long-term, these same actions may devalue the currency dramatically, causing significant inflation. The Congress did not authorize these actions as no one other then private bankers running the Federal Reserve have the ability to authorize anything like this.

What's disturbing is that this is not the first time the media has chosen to cover a far less important story at the expense of the American public's awareness. It seems to be a routine the media follows as they cover stories of less importance over stories pertaining to the future of the United States and the world. Most Americans are totally unaware of this unfortunately. The independent media watch dog AIM - Accuracy In Media reported on this phenomenon on January 17, 2008 in an article titled "Bush Promotes Hillary's Global Policies".

The article begins by saying,

"Our national “news” programs have been preoccupied with baseball players on steroids, but they should devote some attention to the Bush Administration’s approval of a plan to put the United Nations on steroids. Apparently looking to leave office with the blessings of the “international community,” the Bush Administration sold out American interests at the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Bali, Indonesia, in December.

Official conference documents speak of “a new global deal” by 2013, under which the U.S. dramatically reduces its greenhouse gas emissions under U.N. auspices and transfers more money and technology to other countries. Marc Morano, who works for Senator James Inhofe and provides information that the U.S. media will not give to the American people, notes in a dispatch (see below) that the Bali conference featured a panel discussion of a global carbon tax to force U.S. taxpayers to cough up the money. An official U.N. report prepared for Bali speaks of “a need for new and additional external sources of funds.” That’s U.N.-speak for global taxes."

We are pointing out that the media is routinely providing blanket coverage on far less important national news stories. It continues to promulgate with politicians and the media, diverting the attention of the public away from what really is happening. This strategy continues to keep Americans "eye off the ball" as the march toward economic collapse and global government continues. I remember the week long coverage of McCain's congressional steroid hearings and I did wonder at the time, how this was getting so much attention? Next time you find yourself wondering why the media is focusing so greatly on a seemingly insignificant event or story, try and see if you can figure out what is really going on that same day in the world? The alternative media that is not owned by the global financial elite are the only source Americans may have to still uncover the truth behind what really is going on in the world today.
